Not A Fan Fiction: Kangana in a parallel universe

Estimated Reading Time: 5 minutes

A Little Background
That Literally Nobody Requires

Once upon a time, there was a fabulous actress that came to the public’s attention, all thanks to her women empowering roles and immersive acting prowess. She gave several hits like “Fashion”, “Life in a …metro”, (my own favourite) “Queen”, “Tanu Weds Manu” and whatnot. She grew, industry noticed and a small-town girl made it big – all thanks to her own struggles and determination.

But that was not all! No, my dear reader, this lady had the strength to say the most uncomfortable of the things that the Bollywood industry rarely had the time to acknowledge. It was after all Kangana’s interview at the controversial episode of “Koffee with Karan” that gave us the term ‘nepotism’ to address their troubling issue of thorough-and-thorough favouritism. The debate went on, and we as an audience became aware of our flawed watching preference of movies starring only the star kids (no matter how trashy).

Yet somewhere down the lines, this talented being lost her marbles. The influences unknown (actually ‘unacknowledged’ here). Her thoughts deteriorated, language became filthy and her unwanted dim-witted words are all over the place now (read internet). Things are so bad that the lady has demonstrations staged against her now at several places.

I for one used to actually like her before all this drama. After all, which single lady abhors a talented and successful self-made celebrity for an icon? That’s why after the Diljit Dosanjh episode (❤️), here I have let my imagination run wild and blogged up a parallel universe where she is dignified and elegant.

The fictionalized personality in this creation stands for what she believes i.e. respect, equal opportunity and feminism. Fancy that???

Fiction Vs Reality

Time has stopped still after her cup of coffee with Karan & Saif, and miraculously she has decided to make better choices in life-like instead of merely barking about the plight of outsiders in Bollywood she actually starts helping them out for real. Consequences:

Kangana is friends with Swara & Tapsee
Like all real feminists, Kangana applauds and stands for the powerful and self-made actresses of the industry instead of dragging them down. Or stupidly calling them “B-grade” actresses, “soft porn star” etc.

In a scene from the movie – “Tanu Weds Manu Returns”

Who knows? Maybe in a parallel universe, Swara Bhaskar, Tapsee Pannu, Bhumi Pednekar and Ranaut together are a force to reckon. The three aforementioned phenomenal ladies and an imaginative Kangana!

Kangana appreciates ‘Chhichhore’ when SSR is still there
It’s one thing supporting an actor while he is alive, and another trying to get justice for him when he is no more there. A decent human being would have even casually slipped a word of appreciation to the press like – “You know the industry is full of talented actors. For instance, this weekend I watched Sushant’s Chhichhore, and he was fabulous in it…”
All the while, when according to the actress he was struggling!!!
Only the predatory vultures, try to tear off the fame and charm of a deceased talented actor and make it all about their own struggles and narrations. Even to the extent of telling the family that ‘no, I know better’. In this parallel universe, Ms. Ranaut is a decent human being. She gives encouragement and recognizes talent irrespective of the fact that she is on talking terms with the colleague or not. Nah, in my mindscape she does not bash the successful but supports the outsiders with all of her heart.

Like Anushka, Kangana’s production house actually gives a chance to outsiders
Often her production releases have her as a sole protagonist and supporting actors all around her. She casts others, yes! However, in her films, she is the only star.
Recently I became a fan of Anushka Sharma’s production house creations. From the top of my mind, I recall ‘Paatal Lok’ and ‘Bulbbul’. The lean and amazing actress has starred in her own production films like ‘NH10’, ‘Phillauri’ and ‘Pari’. But recently, she even gave a chance to more outsiders/real talents. Who can forget Jaideep Ahlawat, Ishwak Singh, Tripti Dimri and Avinash Tiwary!!!
So in my dreams, Kangana is making more movies that star outsiders and give us amazing content. Much similar to the ones pouring onto us nowadays from every other OTT platform.

Young girls & elder women do not hate her
With all the creative work, movies, giving chance to the outsiders; she would have been truly busy. I doubt then Kangana Ranaut would have had a chance to stare onto her phone, find tweets and go to other people’s accounts to have her foot in the mouth.
Like she did with ‘artwhoring’ a.k.a. Priyanka Paul. The actress went onto her profile, gave her uninvited opinion and had the wrath of social media onto her. Or the time when she foolishly called a protesting elderly farmer woman “100 rupiyee wali dadi”.
No such incidents, much respect! She might have had the attention of Indian ladies onto her, in a good way.

We see Diljeet & Kangana in a movie together
As Kangana would have had no ‘faltu’ time, there would have been no row over Twitter with Dijit Dosanjh (that he clearly won).
But that is pretty much out of question now. Plus, we all love the Punjabi singer even more for standing his ground when it comes to treating the elders with respect.

Sadly, this is still fiction. Instead of using her talent, the actress now only strives to litter us with her ill-mannered social media etiquettes and half-baked opinions while India awaits her much-promised award-wapasi.

P.S. – No Tanu Weds Manu (3) for us.

Spread the love
